Nice stay

Nice location with excellent beach. Well kept sorroundings. We enjoyed corner room with sea- and lagoonaview. Nice little terrace. Life music at the dinner.

Hotel beginns to be a little outdated. Turtle watch was expensive with taxi and not great. There were much to much people. Seems there is a turtle watch for free right next to the hotel.

An amazing resort, with very friendly staff.

We had an amazing time at the resort, with the close proximity to the beach, we could even go in for a swim. The rooms were clean and provided a sense of the Omani heritage. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The food at the restaurant wasn’t the best, I believe this can be improved. The dinner was cold.

Baggage handling on check in and check put needs improvement. Prices to be reviewed as they considered high.

Good get away for few days relaxing

Cabana style accommodation with all facilities, we took one overlooking the beach, the place is safe and good for kids, there is a pool with lifeguard and access to Ras Al Hadd beach. The dhow style dining area just adds to the feel of a good getaway. The food is good but not an extensive menu but we eat enough and enjoyed the live local entertainment. I didn’t manage to reach the bar but drinks can be had with your meals I would say a good base for a few nights,

I don't feel there was anything really wrong with with the place.

Overall a good resort with beach front but beware of their hidden T&C's on getting outside alcohol.

Beautiful location, beach front. Excellent positioning of the outdoor dhow shaped restaurant. Food was nice and delicious. The resort had some exceptional breeze in the evening. Enjoyed the clear sky and the space it had for guests to take short strolls.

The staff at the reception was a bit too rude. I believe we cannot get our own alcohol to the resort which I found to be weird as all the hotels' and resorts including the 5* rated resorts in Oman were allowing guests to bring their own booze. What was annoying is the way she said that alcohol that we are getting must be deposited in the reception sounded quite unprofessional.

It was all fantastic stay

Beach was so clean and fantastic. It was first time for my daughter to see a beach!! She was so thrilled and excited and it was very much memorable for her and we loved it like anything!!

What was the highlight of Turtle Beach Resort

An unforgettable stay.

We had a wonderful time at this resort. The room was west facing looking out over the sea so we enjoyed beautiful sunsets. The room was nicely decorated as an Omani tent which made for a nice atmosphere. In fact, when we first arrived in the room it took use about 2 minutes before we decided to stay another night. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. The hotel beach is small but next to a nearly empty very large community beach. The hotel organised a spectacular boat trip were we saw whales, dolphins and lots of turtle! Making this an unforgettable stay.

It was pretty perfect but the kids were not happy that WiFi coverage is only in the restaurant and resort lobby; there was a lot of building going on next to the beach (pool?)- Aug 2019; Some of the lighting in the room is extremely harsh white light, which is not in keeping with the Omani tent style of the room.

Excellent property.

Excellent property...right by the beach...the rooms are done in traditional Omani style with walls and ceiling covered in fabric. From the outside it looks like a hut. But the best part was it was right on the beach with private access to the beach Staff was very helpful and kind and helped us book tickets to the turtle viewing al Ras Al Jinz. Had breakfast and dinner there and both good given that we are vegetarians

it was okay just to relax

Rooms exterior made with Bamboo sticks.

Earlier location of TURTLE BEACH RESORT was excellent where we stayed 3-4 years back. but these new location is not at all good as these there is not beach entry & noting specialty about this new location.. also more rooms need to be with sea view.

When you come up like such a property away from the City, you must have basics to satisfy guests.

I traveled with a great expectation, however i was totally disappointed. According to me, this is not at a value for money. For the money i paid, i wasn't happy. No Electricity for almost 3 hrs in the night, No Intercom, dont know whom to contact, there is no carpet or door mat, how will i step into the room with feet full of sand ? Surprisingly there is NO POOL. The area is isolated, what else activity we have??

The property itself.

The property itself. Old school type hotel. Don't expect too much. The property is mainly for people who come to see the turtles hence the property is pretty basic. But whatever they have is maintained very well. Exceptionally clean. Good buffet. Sarath, at the restaurant, was very helpful.

If its a windy night, the doors are noisy.

Bed mattress quite hard , rooms could use some carpets or rugs , tiles get very cold, salad from dinner felt a bit stale. Otherwise pretty good

Nice Stay, relaxing far from city

Breakfast/dinner was nice. We got a great room with amazing views. Overall very nice location/worth a night stay.
